We place a high value on the qualifications and capabilities of our staff. The daily electronic on-line field reporting continues to be a great success story and in 2013 J&S Drilling introduced electronic Verification of Competency (VOC’s) reporting and monitoring. The real time monitoring allows our field supervisors to manage the VOC’s of their crews ensuring inductions and training checklists can be completed accurately and regularly for all staff.
Through on-going training and assessment, we aim to maintain the highest possible standard of personal development. We are proud of our staff retention rate.
Licensed Drillers
Our drillers are licensed in accordance with the National Drillers Licensing Scheme in WA, NT & QLD. Staff are regularly trained in site and process-specific techniques.
J&S Drilling staff possess full first aid certification, competency based vehicle and mobile plant tickets/licenses and industry endorsements. Our most experienced and qualified field and workshop staff are Certified Workplace Assessors and we conduct Verification of Competency Assessments on our staff utilising inhouse assessment tools.
